  • I bought drupalfr.org in response to this. For those who don't read french, the site of Drupal French translation, needs hosting. I offered some space and I bought a couple of cheap domains as well. Drupal and its french community deserves it.
  • Red Hat has put the Videos of Redhat Summit online. 300 MB in total for the 3 theora files.
  • Good bye Ethereal, Welcome wireshark.
  • Maester blogs: great!
  • US House rejects the notion of Net Neutrality. Not a good news.

    • The drupal SoC projects all look really cool. I can't wait to test the import export API.
    • betterdesktop.org is a wensite put up by Novell with a load of usability testing videos made on linux. Very interesting.
    • I am trying to download Vista, to try it out on my test machine. Servers are too busy at the moment.
    • The latest lugradio show has a very good interview of Mark Shuttleworth, of Cannonical, and Simon Phipps, of Sum Microsystems, about the sparc support of Ubuntu Dapper. Santa, can i have a T1000 for Xmas ??? please ???
    • I started to use LifeHacker's todo script. I might get back later on that subject.
    • matress arrives tomorrow. Last night on the air bed .... which i am of to NOW !

    • Almost a month without blogging ... such a shame !
    • I took too long to upgrade to drupal 4.7.1. It fixes two highly critical bugs and hence I should have done it earlier.
    • Arch 0.7.2 (gimmick) has been released a few days ago.I hace never stuck so long with a distro.
    • First contact with BSD established. I install FreeBSD 6.1 on Droopy (the test machine). So far so good.

    A lot of security stuff tonight ... but first quite a lot of money.

    - I did not know about the Million $ homepage, but it seems to have been down over the last couple of days.
    - It smells bad [fr] for the french postal service. For the CNT-PTT, the hour is with a real mobilization [en].
    - Linux Security HOWTO has been updated.
    - An american father turned his son to the police for a small amount of marijuana.
    - Interesting, simple and clear: Linux has never been more secure.
    - Thunderbird 1.5 is out !
    - another Quiz to help you choos a linux distribution. It came up with Ubuntu as a best choice for my needs amd Arch was 4th choice after Gentoo, and Mandriva.

    Catching up a bit. Some stuff might be old but i needed to get if of my aggregator

    • The port of the OpenSolaris kernel to the PowerPC Architecture - 'Polaris' -is now complete.
    • Two thirds (62%) [of corporate computer user] admitted they have a very limited knowledge of IT Security.
    • I'd like to try this for our next home.
    • I honestly believe it's going to be big.
