V for Vendetta ( the comic )

V for Vendetta

is a great british comics. Not like I am very familiar with them, I really liked it. Graphism is brilliant and V himself is one of the deepest anti_hero that I ever read.
Written the Thatcher government in the mid 80's, this graphic novel (the posh name for comic) starts in the future of 1997. There has been a WW3 and "Africa doesn't exist anymore.". Britain is under strict rationning and the neo-fascist government has opened working camps non-white, jews, gays and anyone who speaks too loud.
On 5th of November 1997, The parliament explodes and it's signed V.
I found this site tonight and it litterally destroys the new blockbuster inspired from the comic. All because hollywood apparently skipped all the most anarchist moments of the comic. V must be left without much depth ! haven't seen the movie but i don't really want to anymore.
