Second reason is that I went to London for a week of training. I managed to stay away from my mails during the whole week which was actually quite good. Subject was AIX administration II: Problem Determination. It was good to discover some features of AIX that i didn't know about and that my colleagues don't seem to use at all. 60% of the material was not new to me though.
London was cool. I went to see Superman in IMAX at the BFI IMAX, which is the largest screen in England. I wa;lked a lot around London.

July just flew by ...
You might have (not!!!) noticed the obvious inactivity of this blog during July.
This was for essentially 3 reasons. First, we went for some fabulous holidays in France. It felt very good to see some friends that I had seen for more than one year. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The highlights of thos holidays were swimming with Mateo, walking down the Rio Vero in Sierra de Guara, seeing Aran and the pintxos with Nico et Caro. We came back on 25th of July after more than 2 400 miles (4 000 kms) in 18 days.
Third and final reason is a little kitten called Charlotte that we adopted on 29th of july. Charlotte was supposed to be around 8 weeks when we got her but I guess we will fix her birthday has the 29th of July. Charlotte is really cute and seems to really bond with Marie already. Charlotte saw the vet for the first time today and is healthy. She is so cute she was the attraction of the vet's waiting room.
